What is Fragment? Telegram usernames, numbers and Stars on TON
Fragment is a TON-based platform for collectible Telegram usernames and anonymous numbers, Premium and Stars, and developer withdrawals of Stars to TON.
Published:

Fragment is a platform built on the TON blockchain for digital assets in the Telegram ecosystem. It is best known for trading Telegram usernames and anonymous numbers, and for Telegram Premium and Stars purchases.
Collectible usernames
In its November 5, 2022 update Telegram introduced collectible usernames: short, rare usernames are sold at auction on Fragment, with ownership recorded on the blockchain. Accounts also gained the ability to hold several usernames at once.
Premium and Stars
Fragment lets you pay for Telegram Premium for yourself or someone else in TON, and buy Stars. When Telegram Stars launched (June 6, 2024), Telegram also said developers would be able to withdraw the Stars their bots earn as Toncoin via Fragment.
Where the price comes from
Fragment lists Stars and Premium prices in TON and USD. PayStars uses that Fragment price as the base and adds 5%. Everything is settled from a USD (USDT) balance, so you don't need a TON wallet or to track crypto exchange rates.
A safety note
Fragment's official address is fragment.com. Phishing copies are common, so check the address carefully before connecting a wallet.
